The 35-year-old Gambian referee will be assisted by Angesom Ogbamariam from Eritrea and Felicien Kabanda of Rwanda.
There will not be too many happy faces in the Nigerian dressing room when Egyptian referee Ghead Grisha goes to check equipments as the fourth official.

Grisha it could be recalled gave the controversial penalty that saw Zambia draw against Nigeria and a top official of the Federation being quoted as saying that the CAF referee committee was totally dissatisfied with Grisha’s mishandling of that match and as a result suspended the Egyptian from the 2013 nations cup.

This game will be Papa’s third match as head referee at this Nations Cup. The Gambian already oversaw Tunisia’s 1-0 win over Algeria and hosts South Africa’s 2-2 draw against Morocco.
