Sawaneh’s Leuven edge Charleroi

Ibou Sawaneh
Gambia international striker Ibou Sawaneh and his Belgian side OH Leuven garnered a 1-0 win over Sporting Charleroi at the Stadion Den Dreef.

Recent performances of Sawaneh’s Leuven were really terrible as they haven't scored a victory in 11 consecutive league games which made the whole team frustrated.
But they had to overcome that losing streak to win 1-0 against Charleroi thanks to Nigerian Derick Chuka Ogbu’s 55th minute strike.

Sawaneh, who has struck 16 times in the Belgian league this season, was a 90th minute substitute after failing to find the back of the net once again.

The team now lies 10th in the 16-team Belgian Jupiler league table with 31 points. They travel to the Jan Breydelstadion next to face Club Brugge.
